Robert passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Longtime resident of Collingswood, New Jersey.  Loving father of son, Robert D. Gordon (Thena) and daughter, Marny Juliano (Francis).  Cherished grandfather of Nandi Simone Gordon and Napoleon Robert and Aurora Dawson Juliano.  Also survived by his faithful friend and pastor, Sam Mountain, his brother-in-law, Ed Walens and his loving nieces and nephews, Debbie Aaron, Cheryl Hill (Ron), Eddie Walens (Kim), Carole Walens, Donna Hutchinson, Mark Pancoast (Tammy) and Linda Massimilla (Mark), many great nieces and nephews and his special granddog, Moses. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Martha Gordon and his sisters Marion Abrams, Arlene Walens and Dolores Pancoast.

Robert was a graduate of Camden High School class of 1958 and a graduate of Ottawa University Class of 1963.  Robert joined the U.S. Air Force in September 1965.  He retired from the United States Post office where he worked as a mail handler in Bellmawr, NJ. Robert was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood, where he served as a treasurer, an usher,  assisted with visitations and was a valued member of the Men's Bible Study.  Robert loved all sports, but especially baseball, where he always cheered on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies.  He also enjoyed watching college basketball including his two favorite teams, the Kansas Jayhawks and the Carolina Tar Heels.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, 10 AM to 11 AM at the Highland Park Church of God, 111 Baynes Avenue, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM in the church.  Interment will be private.
