John E. Warne, Jr.

Owner-Manager, N.J. Lic. No. 3100

John is a lifelong resident of Haddon Heights and married to Marianne Carter Warne. He has 4 children: Meggan, John III, Joseph and Kathleen. John and Marianne are parishoners of St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Haddon Heights where John was a CCD Catechist for 20 years and former two-term member of Parish Council. John is a 1967 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ in 1971. He then attended mortuary school, graduating in 1973 from the American Academy McAllister Institute, New York City, NY. John is a licensed practitioner of mortuary science in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (1973 and 1975 respectively). He is a member and Past President of the West Jersey Funeral Directors Association, member and former Corporate Secretary and former Trustee of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association as well as a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. John is very involved in the communities of Audubon, Collingswood and Haddon Heights. He is a member and past president of the Audubon Business and Professional Association and a member of the Joseph L. DeMarco III Memorial Scholarship committee in Audubon since 1979. John is an active member and past president of the Audubon-Haddon Township-Oaklyn Rotary Club and the Collingswood Business Association. He also is involved in the Haddon Heights High School Alumni Association, a former member of the Haddon Heights Jaycees and former H.H.Y.A baseball coach.

John E. Warne, III

John is a 1996 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. He lives in Haddon Township and has three children: Sydney, Carter and Cora. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Business Management from Loyola University in Maryland, where he graduated in 2000. He continued his education, graduating with a Funeral Service Certificate degree from Mercer County Community College in 2002. Upon graduating mortuary school, John passed and completed the National Funeral Service Board Exam, NJ State Rules and Regulations Board Exam and NJ Practical Exam, earning his New Jersey Practitioner of Mortuary Science license in October 2002. Professionally, John is a member of West Jersey Funeral Directors Association, New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. Within the community, John is a parishioner of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Collingswood. He is also a member and Past President of the Collingswood Rotary Club, a club that continues to support the Collingswood community as a whole as well as the students and sports of all Collingswood schools. John was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow (named after the founder of Rotary, Paul Harris), an award given for the commitment and dedication to the ideals of Rotary. In July 2011, he was appointed as a Commissioner of the Collingswood Housing Authority. He is also a member of the Haddon Heights High School Alumni Association.

Joseph W. Warne

Joe is a lifelong resident of Haddon Heights and a 1998 graduate of Haddon Heights High School. He is married to Marissa Weick Warne, also a graduate of Haddon Heights. They have two children, Pippa and Wesley.

After high school, Joe matriculated to Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA and was a member of the Class of 2002, majoring in English. Joe excelled in three sports in high school, which afforded him the opportunity to compete at the NCAA level for the Ursinus men's soccer team all 4 years. Since 2008, Joe has been an assistant coach alongside longtime head boys soccer coach, Jeff Eppright, at Haddon Heights High School, helping guide the program to an appearance in the state finals in 2010 and winning the NJ Group I State Championship in 2012.

More recently, Joe attended Mercer County Community College, graduating in 2016 from their Funeral Service program and earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science. At graduation, Joe received the Peter P. Horvath Achievement Award, chosen by his faculty at MCCC. Joe has since completed and passed both sections of the National Funeral Service Board Exam, NJ State Rules and Regulations Board Exam and lastly, the NJ Practical Exam. Joe earned his New Jersey Practitioner of Mortuary Science license in September 2019.
